Art Escape holds a themed call to artists with an open reception for each new exhibition, which is free to the public.

Encaustics are an ancient medium, developed by the Greeks over 2,000 years ago. View artworks by artists utilizing a variety of styles and techniques demonstrating the versatility of pigmented wax.

Come celebrate family & community! A community altar and shadow boxes detailing family history will be up on display during this event.
Enjoy festive Day of the Dead food such as tamales and pan de muerto while decorating sugar skulls. Bring an ofrenda (offering) to place in our community altar in memory of loved ones that have passed.
You may choose to send photos of your loved ones digitally by:
- Emailing your photos to email@example.com with #EnMemoria in the subject line.
- Sharing your photo through Instagram/Facebook/Twitter using the hashtag #EnMemoria and tagging us @artescapesonoma.
Photos will be printed and placed on the altar.

The Penny MacNaughton Gallery is named in memory of one of our co-founders, a dear friend with a kind and generous soul.
Her commitment to the arts and the community of Sonoma continues at Art Escape. We are proud to show work made by local artists, both children and adult.
Student and professional artists are welcome to exhibit their work in this space.
Gallery admission is free to the public.
